Custom WooCommerce Checkout Process and Options
Today, I am mostly customising a WooCommerce checkout process. My client wants to manually calculate shipping for every order outside of North America. I have built a custom WooCommerce payment gateway that allows for a customer to place an order without paying. The order is placed “on-hold” while shipping is calculated. This is automatic based on the customer’s geographical location. North American customers will pay and checkout, as usual, none the wiser.
