Migrating 17GB WordPress Website to a Faster Host

Today I am mostly migrating a large WordPress website to a much faster host. 5000 posts and 29,000 images make up this 17GB WordPress blog. Without any optimisation, the hosting server move alone is making the site 20% faster on Google Page Speed Insights. Optimisation starts soon for bigger improvements.
